Indian actress Pooja Hegde started her career as a model, she competed in the Miss Universe India in the year 2010 and was the 2nd runner-up in the competition. Pooja was born on 13 Oct 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, her parents Manjunath Hegde and Latha Hegde are from Karnataka.
Although the actress made her acting debut in the 2012 superhero Kollywood film Mugamoodi. She mostly works in Tollywood films. She has appeared in many super hit Tollywood films so far, like Mukunda(2014), Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018), Most Eligible Bachelor(2021), etc.
Wherein she has shared screen space with many known south superstars like Naga Chaitanya, Allu Arjun, N.T. Ramaa Rao Jr, etc.
Pooja made her Bollywood debut in the year 2016 with the period action film Ashutosh Gowarikar directorial film Mohenjo Daro, where she starred alongside Bollywood superstar actor Hrithik Roshan. The film was considered a flop at the box office. It took two years for Pooja to make her come back to the Hindi cinema.
Meanwhile, she was working in Telugu films and gave successful films like Duvvada Jagannadham, Aravind Sametha Veera Raghava, and Maharshi. She then made her superhit entry in Bollywood with the superhit Housefull 4 and marked her first success in Hindi Cinema.
