Pradeep Khadka starrer “Prem Geet 3” performing very well at the box office. It was opened to rave reviews from the audience and took a very good start at the box office. With its arrival in cinemas, it has become the widest release Nepali film ever, the first Nepali film to be dubbed in Hindi.
Late Chhetan Gurung and Santosh Sen directed the movie and it is backed by Sparking Studio (India) with Aasusen Films Production (Nepal). It revolves around the main characters Prem and Geet, it is an epic story of a mighty kingdom from the beyul of the Himalayas set on an ancient periodic setup.

Box Office Collection India
Despite the limited release in India, and multiple clashes at the box office, the film witnessed stupendous occupancy on its first day. Prem Geet 3 minted Rs 1.12 crores gross at the Indian box office, Rs 2.05 crores in the home market Nepal and 1.67 Cr from the overseas market for a worldwide total of 4.84 crores gross. It is a big amount considering its scale.
The breakeven target for Pradeep Khadka’s film is Rs 4 Cr in India, and it is expected to recover the amount in the first week itself following the positive audience word of mouth. As per the early trade estimations, it adds another 1 crore at its cash registers on Day 2 in India. The movie is witnessing Housefull shows in centers like Chennai.
It serves as the third installment in the superhit Prem Geet franchise, Pradeep Khadka headlined in all three films. It also stars Kristina Gurung, Shiva Shrestha, Sunil Thapa, Santosh Sen, and Maotse Gurung as the main leads. It has an IMDb rating of 9.6 out of 10.

The movie was certified with a U/A certificate on 12 Sept 2022. After muting/replacing Pakistan and four abusive words censor board passed it allowing it to be released on Sept 23rd. The duration of the flick is 120.15 minutes or 2hrs 15secs.

It is made on a budget of 11 crores which includes Rs 6 Cr production cost and Rs 5 Cr advertising and printing. Kristina Gurung said to be marking her female lead debut through this film, she was selected for the role after outperforming 27000 participants at the audition.
The technical team of the flick includes Purushottam Pradhan and Rajesh Shrestha handled the cinematography, it is edited by Bhupendra Adhikari, Banish Shah and Sanjay Sankla and it has music given by Kalyan Singh, Alish Karki and Aslam Keyi.
