The latest Nepali outing Prem Geet 3 opened to rave reviews from the audience and has performed very well over the weekend at the box office worldwide. It is the first Nepali film to be released in Hindi and saw the widest release ever for a Nepali film.
Prem Geet 3 stars Pradeep Khadka and Kristina Gurung in the main lead roles and also has Shiva Shrestha, Sunil Thapa, Santosh Sen, Maotse Gurung, and Manish Raut in pivotal roles.
Both the outside release, Prem Geet 3 and the Avatar are performing very well at the box office in India. As per the latest official box office reports of both the flicks, Avatar 2 was opened with over 3 crores at the box office whereas Prem Geet 3 took a start of 1.12 crores gross in India.

Prem Geet 3 Box Office Collection in India
The theatrical rights of Prem Geet 3 were sold at Rs 4 crores in India, as per reports. The film witnessed excellent occupancy on its arrival day. And on Saturday the film had sold out shows in the centers like Chennai. And due to the encouraging response to the flick, its shows have increased in India on Day 3.
As per the early trade estimation, it collects Rs 0.8-1 crore gross in India on Sunday, now the total India collection of Prem Geet 3 stands in the vicinity of 3 crores gross.
Prem Geet 3 Box Office Collection Overseas
As per the latest official reports, Prem Geet 3 which was released on 200 screens in Nepal had collected Rs 4.25 crores in the home market in Nepal in 2 days. It occupied 500 screens overseas and churned out Rs 2.90 crores from there in two days.
The 2days total worldwide collection of Prem Geet 3 stands at Rs 8.97 crores, as per a report of Bollywood Hungama. It is certain to go past the 10 crore mark on Sunday, taking its total weekend (3 days) collections in the vicinity of 12 crores at the box office, worldwide.

The Global Coordinator of International Nepalese Artists Society (INAS) Manish Shrestha and INAS Europe Coordinator Santa Kumar Thapa Magar, have purchased the foreign rights of the film for Euro 23,500 (INR 18.44L). Prem Geet 2 is screened in eight European countries including the UK. The President of the Global Nepali Film Award, Nava Raj Shrestha acquired American rights for USD 45 thousand (in Indian Rupees 36.65L), as per the Nepali news report.
If the above reports are to go by then Prem Geet 3 is faring well in the USA and will soon cross the breakeven target in the USA while it will take time surpass the same in the European countries.
