The first Indo-Nepali film “Prem Geet 3” is gearing up for a wide release on Sept 23, worldwide. It is the third installment in the superhit Prem Geet franchise, the biggest star in the Nepali Film Industry Pradeep Khadka is playing the main lead as Prem, he also starred in earlier two films as the main lead. It is a period action film mounted on a huge scale.

Screen Counts and Budget

As per the media reports, it is made on a budget of 4-5 crores and will occupy 500-800 screens in India. It will be released simultaneously in Hindi on Sept 23, as well. The trailer of the movie was recently unveiled, which promises to be an epic story of a mighty kingdom from the beyul of the Himalayas, set on an ancient periodic setup.

As the film is nearing its release date, the promotion of this period action is in full swing. Recently the team of PG3 along with the star cast Pradeep and Kristina Gurung visited the heritage institute of technology in Kolkata and received a tremendous response.

Prem Geet 3 will be locking horns with the suspense thriller Hindi film Dhokha: Round D Corner starring R. Madhavan, and the other thing is Brahmastra which is already having its dream run at the box office and not in the mood to slow down. Amid this, Pradeep Khadka’s film could face a struggle in order to pull the crowd towards the cinemas.

However, so far the response is good for the third installment of Prem Geet which has delivered two hits already, there is huge anticipation among the Nepali moviegoers, and trade reports suggest that it is all set to take a humungous start at the box office in Nepal.

All About Prem Geet 3

Prem Geet 3 is directed by Chhetan Gurung and the late Santosh Sen, it has been in the making for a long and has rescheduled its release date many times before coming to Sept 23 owing to several reasons. Indian filmmaker Subhash Kale produced the flick under his Sparking Studio with the collaboration of Aasusen Films Production.

It stars Pradeep Khadka and Kristina Gurun playing Prem, Geet respectively, it also has Shiva Shrestha, Sunil Thapa, Santosh Sen, Maotse Gurung, Manish Raut and Puskar Karki among others.
