Popular Kollywood actor playback singer Sivakarthikeyan starrer bilingual (Telugu and Tamil) film Prince has finally gotten its new release date. Written and directed by Anudeep K.V., known for directing the 2021 blockbuster Telugu comedy drama film Jathi Ratnalu.
The film marks the Telugu debut of award winning actor Sivakarthikeyan, who, after several Telugu dubbed films, has finally ready to make acting debut in Tollywood. The film was tentatively titled as SK 20 Also, it marks the Tamil debut of director Anudeep.

Prince New Release Date
The makers of the bilingual film announced the film’s new release date. Earlier, scheduled to be released on August 31, the film is now delayed to Diwali 2022. It is the first ever movie of the star’s career that is opting for a Diwali release and will be released in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
The announcement of the release date was made with a 3-minute long humorous video featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Maria Ryanshapka, Sathyaraj and director Anudeep. Have a look:

Prince Cast & Crew
Sivakarthikeyan aka SK, the lead actor of the film was appeared in his recently released Tamil romantic comedy drama film Don co-starring, which was released in May 13 along with Telugu dubbed version which was titled College Don and turned out to be a blockbuster crossing the Rs. 100 cr. by the second week of its theatrical release.
In addition to Prince, SK have long-awaited Tamil sci-fi film Ayalaan alongside Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar and a film with Rajkumar Periyasamy under Kamal Hassan’s Production in his slate of releases.
Opposite him, the film stars Ukrainian model and actress Maria Rayaboshapka, known for playing Natasha in Kay Kay Menon starrer Disney+Hotstar’s spy web-series Special OPS 1.5: The Himmat Story (2021).
Along with the leading star cast, the film also stars several popular faces from Both Telugu and Tamil industry, veteran actor Sathyaraj being one of them. It is produced by D. Suresh Babu, Narayan Das K Narang, Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao and is co-produced by Arun Viswa.
Siva’s long-time friend S. Thaman is scoring the music and the film marks their first collaboration. Prince is being presented by Suresh Productions PVT Ltd., Sree Venkateswara Cinema LLP and Shanthi Talkies.

Clash with Karthi’s Sardar
As we have told, the Prince is all set to have a Diwali release this year, it will face a direct clash with actor Karthi’s most-awaited spy thriller film Sardar, which is also set to be released on October 24, during Diwali this year.
It is going to be their second clash at the Box-office after SK’s Hero Vs. Karthi’s Thambi in 2019. Apart from that, it is being said that Jayram Ravi’s Iraivan and megastar Ajith’s next, tentatively titled AK61. So, this Diwali is going to be a massive treat for the movie lovers in the Tamil and Telugu states.
