The one-minute-long teaser of this film was released on November 15, 2021, and got a mixed response from the fans. While some praised Akshay Kumar for him never seen before the character of a great warrior of India, some criticized the teaser for Akshay’s poor looks, application, and poor VFX quality, same happened with trailer.
The film is helmed as well as written by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is best known for directing the 1991 Indian Television historic drama series Chanakya.
He had already completed the script of this historic drama in 2010 and his first choice for the role of Prithviraj and Sanyogita was Sunny Deol and Aishwarya Rai, respectively, but later he dropped the project because no production house was interested in it.
Later in 2018, the film finally got the producer as popular Indian director Aditya Chopra under the banner of his own production house Yash Raj Films. If we talk about technical work, cinematography and editing are done by Manush Nandan and Aarif Sheikh, respectively.
The film has the background score and music by the composer duo Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara while it has the songs sung by popular Indian composer trio Shankar-Ehsan-Loy.
