One of the most awaited big scale Hindi film of the year, the period action film Prithviraj is all set to hit the silver screens on June 3, Akshay Kumar is essaying the titular character of the legendary Indian king Prithviraj Chauhan.

Advance Bookings
Prithviraj will be released in cinemas on 3 June 2022, in three Indian languages Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The advance bookings for the film were opened on Sunday (May 29th) five days before of the film’s release and reportedly the film managed to sell the tickets around 17,000 at three national chains till Thu morning.
Akshay’s film has sold less than half as compared Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which had sold 45,000 tickets as of Thu morning.

Box Office Collection Predictions
Earlier trade analysts were of the view that Prithviraj could rake in around Rs 30 to 35 Cr on day 1 considering on a scale the film has been made. But the advance bookings showing the different story here, it now seems would collect in the range of Rs 10.5-13 Cr on Day 1.
Uttar Pradesh’s C.M Yogi Adityanath earlier had declared the film tax-free in Uttar Pradesh and now the Madhyapradesh govt. tax-exempted the film, and other states are expected to follow suit. The tax exemption will definitely benefit Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s film and will give a boost to the film’s collection.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is already running successfully at the box office and now trade pundits are bidding on Prithviraj which could continue the Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s successful trend.
