Mollywood superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is basking in the success of Jana Gana Mana, announced his next directorial venture titled Tyson with Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films, the production house that has backed the immensely successful KGF film Series.
It is the fourth directorial venture of Sukumaran following the record-breaking Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, Bro Daddy and the long-awaited L2: Empyrean, which is the sequel of Lucifer and is yet to be released. The film is scripted by Murali Gopi, who had penned the script of Lucifer and L2: Empyrean, too.

Touted-to-be a social thriller, the film was announced by Prithviraj himself on social media with an intriguing poster in which you can see a Government office where it seems new IAS officer is set to take charge, so his name is being written by a man in the board after the names of the the person, who has served for the post.
Along with posting the picture that shows the title with the tagline “The Bell Won’t Save You…!” Prithviraj penned down the caption “#TYSON, Presenting my fourth directorial, next after Empuraan L2. Tyson Cast & Crew
Set in Contemporary India, in the film, Prithiviraj himself will play the lead actor. Rest of the team has not been revealed yet. As per sources, the film will include top actors and technicians as it is said to be one of the biggest from Malayalam film Industry. Tyson marks the Mollywood debut of Hombale Films.
Release Date
This highly-anticipated action thriller is set to go on floor in the third quarter of 2023, and it is being said that it will have a Pan-India release in 2014 in all four South Indian languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam along with Hindi. Official release date is yet to be announced.
