Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has been shining in the film industry for the past two decades & has now become a global icon after getting a huge response from her debut American Television thriller series Quantico and Hollywood acting debut with Baywatch in which she shared the screen space with Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson.
After becoming Miss World in 2000, PeeCee was the most sort of girl in the glamour industry. After winning this pageant, she decided to make her career in Bollywood, so she started modeling and had been featured in various music videos.
PeeCee started the acting journey in Hindi Cinema with Sunny Deol starrer spy-thriller The Hero 2003. Although the film didn’t get much success at the Box Office Priyanka received a nomination for Best Actress at Filmfare Awards for her performance.
Later in the year, Priyanka got a big break when director Raj Kanwar signed her in Andaaz opposite Akshay Kumar and another debutant Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta. The film was a big hit at the box office and Priyanka’s role was praised by the critics and the audience.
After that, she was seen in some big films, opposite the biggest superstars of the industry, like Mujhse Shadi Karogi (2004), Aitraaz (2004), Krrish (2006), and Don (2006). Following a short setback the actress made her comeback with the 2008 film Madhur Bhandarkar directorial ‘Fashion’, which got her a national film award for Best Actress.
Although, Priyanka had already shown her interest in the International arena in 2012 when her first single music video as a singer launched with Hollywood musician Willaim in the track In My City and Exotic (2014) with Pitbull.
In the year 2015, she started shooting for her first International project Quantico, an American television thriller crime series in which she played the role of an FBI agent Alex Parrish.

In 2016, Priyanka was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award given by the Government of India. Also, her name has been included by the prestigious Time Magazine in the list of 100 most influential people in the world.

1- Citadel
Citadel is a spy thriller, science fiction Web Series, created by Patrick Moran along with Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo. It stars India’s desi girl Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden and Danish actor Roland Mollerr. The show is currently in its production phase, and will be premiered on the giant streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
2- Love Again
The actress will soon be seen in the Hollywood romantic drama Love Again, directed and written by James C. Strouse. The film is the adaptation of the german movie SMS fur Dich (2016).
It stars Priyanka, Celine Dion, and Sam Heughan in the lead roles. It was earlier titled ‘Text for You’ and then ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me’, it was suppose to release in Feb 2023 and now the release date has been changed to 12 May 2023.
3- Jee Le Zara
PeeCee will Next be sharing screen space with the two other lead actresses of Bollywood namely Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif, the film will be directed by Farhan Akhtar.
It is jointly written by Farhan, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, and Apparently, the film will be about a road trip of three girls, which will be made under the banner of Excel Entertainment. It is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2023.
4- Yubi Lukpi
Priyanka will again work with her MaryKom Director-producer Omung Kumar and Sandeep Singh respectively, in the sports drama film Yubi Lukpi. The film is set in Manipur state, Yubi Lukpi is a sport that is played with coconuts in Manipur, similar to Rugby. However, no news about the production from the makers yet.
5- Sheela
The actress also going to feature in Amazon Studios’s Sheela, in which the actress is playing a spiritual guru as Maa Anand Sheela, directed by Barry Levinson. She will also produce this film under her own banner Purple Pebble Pictures. However, no official update has been announced yet regarding the project yet.
6- Tulia
The actress will also essay the role of a lawyer in her upcoming movie Tulia, which is the adaptation of a book named Tulia: Race, Cocain, and Corruption(2005) which is based on real-life events.
7- Cowboy Ninja Viking
Apart From this she will also be seen with the known Hollywood actor Guardian of the Galaxy fame Chriss Pratt in the action film Cowboy Ninja Viking. The film has recently been announced and is soon to be starting off its production. backed by Mark Gordon, Michael De Luca, and Chris under the banner of Entertainment 360, Eone, and Michael De Luca Productions.
8- Kalpana Chawla Biopic
Priyanka Chopra grabs an ambitious film based on the life of late Astronaut Kalpana Chawla and the biopic will be directed by debutant female director Priya Mishra.
