Pan India star Prabhas starrer most anticipated, long-awaited period romantic drama film Radhe Shyam has finally been released in theatres. It was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres in July 2021 but pushed back 4 times owing to the covid-19 pandemic.
However, with the film finally releases in theatres, it received an enormous response from the movie buffs, as the pre-ticket bookings of the film have been sold out in many areas.
Prabhas starrer received mixed to positive reviews from the critics, they praised the outstanding VFX use, the chemistry between Prabhas and Pooja, and BGM by S.Thaman, while bashed the poor writing.
The first half is said to be excellent, climax compensates for the decent second half. Controversial critic Kamal R Khan also praised the film by calling it a sure-shot hit.

Radha Krishna Kumar’s directorial was released in all five Indian languages Hindi, Telugu along with the dubbed versions, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
In the home market, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana it was released on over 920 theatres, with most in the Nizam area 334 plus screens, it is less than the recent releases Pushpa(1150+), Bheemla Nayak (1075+) in the AP/TG region.
Ticket Price hike in Andhra Pradesh
Talking about the region as per reports, the Andhra government has raised the ticket price, especially for the Prabhas starrer considering the film is a big-budget film, they raised the ticket by price by Rs 20, says the report. It will compensate for the loss from the low theatre count in the region.
Thereby Radhe Shyam is expected to collect big numbers on an opening day considering, its trailer and songs have already made much hype among the theatergoers, the positive reviews from the critics, price ticket hike in Andhrapradesh, and the movie buffs are finally returning to the theatres given Alia’s Gangubai, Allu’s Pushpa, Ajith’s Valimai and Bheemla Nayak BO collections.

Prabhas starrer garnered a low amount of footfalls at the cinema halls in the Hindi belt, the Hindi version minted Rs 4.50 cr nett, whereas the film showed amazing response from the Telugu region, the Telugu version of the film reportedly raked in Rs 30 crores.
It collects most from the Nizam area Rs 10.45cr share Prabhas leaves his own two films records behind in the area Saaho (Rs 9.41 Cr) and Baahubali2 (Rs 8.9 Cr), Now the film marks the third highest grosser in Nizam area after Bheemla Nayak and Pushpa (Rs 11.85 Cr and Rs 11.44 Cr).
Radhe Shyam also crosses the $1 million (INR 7.67 crore) mark in the USA, and it became his 4th entry at the US box office with the Baahubali film series and Saaho. It had already grossed Rs 6.83 crores from the Thursday U.S premiere shows. Prabhas starrer minted Rs 1.14 cr gross at the BO Australia on Day 1.
Let you know, that Prabhas’s prior two films Baahubali 2 (Rs 150.97 crores) and Saaho (Rs 101 crores) both collected over Rs 100 crore gross, which may not be possible this time considering post-corona things have changed.
