Going by this, it will sell around 40,000 tickets before the release, which is similar to Samrat Prithviraj’s ( 41,000) but lower than Shamshera’s ( 48,000) final advances. As per Sacnilk.com, Raksha Bandhan has sold overall 34468 tickets worth Rs 84.75 L, till Wed morning.
Screen Counts and Budget
Raksha Bandha is said to be made on a budget of around Rs 75 crores. As per a report of Pinkvilla, it will be released on around 2500 screens in India. Box Office Collection
The film’s subject caters to the family audience (middle-class and lower middle-class families) and also Akshay Kumar is not a star of advances like Aamir, the former’s film will totally depend on spot bookings. Going by the advances, it looks like his film will collect Rs 8-9 Cr range. However, if the walk-in audience comes in huge numbers and there is a Raksha Bandhan holiday as well there is a chance that it witnesses a double-digit opening.
