How’s the Hype?
Recently Aamir’s LSC stirred controversy when netizens called for a boycott of his film on social media sites. It has been one of the top trends in the last few weeks, many users took to social media demanding a boycott of LSC. We can’t deny the fact that the boycott Bollywood trend has also affected the industry business to some extent.
And with this, the negative trend surrounding the film might bar it, from reaping the benefit of a Holiday release. It is expected that Akshay’s Raksha Bandhan might get the benefit of it.
Box Office Prediction
LSC and Raksha Bandhan cater to the multiplex audience, so most of the earnings of both the flicks will come from the metros only. As per our early projection, Aamir’s LSC will make the business of Rs 12-16 Cr on the first day, considering the advances and it is a holiday release. however, hadn’t there been a negative trend ahead of the release it would have had a chance to mint 3-4crores more.
On the other, Akshay’s Raksha Bandhan will make the business around Rs 8-10 Cr on the first day domestically given the track record of his flops in the year however, it is remained to be seen how it creates the buzz as it nears the release date.
