South superstars Rana and Venkatesh Daggubati will soon be going to be featured in an upcoming Netflix crime drama web series Rana Naidu.
Rana Dagggubati who rose to fame across India from the epic Baahubali film series will be the first time sharing screen space with his real-life uncle Venkatesh Daggubati who is also a big draw in the Tollywood industry.
Rana Naidu Story
The series is titled Rana Naidu and is said to be a remake of the popular American crime drama series Ray Donovan(2013), in which Ray the main character is seen as a fixer who arranges illegal activities like bribes, crime-scene clean up, etc, who has big-fat wealthy clients.
Things steered when his father releases from jail, now they both are on the run from the police.

In the upcoming web series, Rana is playing a Mumbai fixer and uncle Venky in his father’s role who is an ex-con.
Other actors that are going to be featured in the series are Sacred games fame Surveen Chawla, Abhishek Banerjee (TVF Pitchers, Mirzapur, Paatal Lok), Janu Tibrewal(Gal Ban
Gayi), Saurav Khurana (Zayed Mirza), Abhishek Bhalerao (Inspector Malvade), and the Savdhan India host Sushant Singh is also onboard for the series, confirmed by the platform while posting the filming wraps post with the pictures of main cast members.
Rana Naidu Netflix Release Date
Rana Naidu is a crime-drama series, directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, Karan also serves as the showrunner of the show. It is being made under the banner Locomotive Global Inc.
Now it’s a wrap for Rana Naidu, Netflix recently gave the news through their official social media account, the details about the other star casts and the release date are still under the wraps.
But it is expected that it would be made available by the third quarter of 2022 on the streaming platform as the shooting has been concluded for the same, it will be available on the plarform in two languages Hindi and Telugu.

Karmanya Ahula, Ananya Mody, and B.V.S Ravi serve as the head writer, Vaibhav Vishal wrote the dialogues, Karan Anshuman executive produced the series and the editing is done by Manan Mehta.
Talking about the American show Ray Donovan, the show started premiering in 2013 and is comprised of a total of 7 seasons. All the 7 seasons are available on the streaming platforms like Disney+hotstar, Hulu, Voot, etc.
