India’s leading OTT platform Zee5 has announced yet another season of its crime action drama series Rangbaaz after the phenomenal success of the first two seasons. The third season is titled Rangbaaz: Dar ki Rajneeti.
The first season of the series premiered was based on a true story of Shri Prakash Shukla who was a notorious gangster of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and it premiered on December 22, 2018 on the platform.
The second season of the show titled Rangbaaz Phirse premiered a year after the release of the first season on December 22, 2019 and was based on Rajasthan-based gangster Amarpal Singh. Season 3 of the series also promises something new and more exciting.
Star Cast
The script of the third season is written by Siddharth Mishra, who had written the story of previous two seasons. It is produced under the banner of JAR Pictures.
‘Rangbaaz – Darr Ki Rajneeti’ stars actor Vineet Kumar Singh in the lead role as Haroon Shah Ali Baig with Aakanksha Singh playing opposite him. Other than the leading star cast, the show has Vijay Mourya, Rajesh Tailang, Prashant Narayanan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Ajay Rai, Navdeep, Sneha Khanwalkar and Mukesh Chhabra as actors in supporting roles.
The plot of Rangbaaz Season 3
The two seasons were based on the gangster drama theme so this season is also about gangster drama but politics has been added in season 3. This season follows Vineet’s character, Haroon Shah Ali Baig (also known as Saheb), as he rises from a rural community in Bihar to become one of the state’s most impactful strongmen.
He uses his power and money to support the people as he gets power and money through his achievements. His image of a Robin Hood-type personality solidifies, and he begins to feel recognized and validated. Saheb’s rise and subsequent fall reflect his transition from underdeveloped ideology to strategy implementation.
When & Where to Watch?
The 6-episode season of the show titled Rangbaaz – Darr Ki Rajneeti will premiere on Zee5 soon. The date has not been revealed yet but the shooting is in progress. Now it’s confirmed that season 3 will be released in July 2022, save the date ’29 July’
