Tollywood megastar Ravi Shankar Raju Bhupatiraju, popularly known as Ravi Teja is all set to have a blast with his upcoming film Ravanasura.

It will be a Gangster thriller and the 70the film of Ravi Teja’s career. This is the most anticipated film of the Tollywood star, in which he will be seen in a Gangster’s role.

Ravi Teja was last seen in Krack,a Telugu action thriller, which was directed by Gopichand Makineni. The film was released on January 9, 2021 and became a major commercial hit by grossing over Rs. 70 Crore at the Box Office. Shruti Haasan was the female lead opposite Ravi Teja.

Before the release of Ravanasura, we will see him on the big screen in “Ramarao On Duty” and “Khiladi”.

This action thriller is going to be released in the third quarter of this year. It will hit the theaters on September 30, 2022.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja will be playing a never seen before the role of a powerful antagonist “Ravanasura”, based on the Hindu Epic Ramayana’s character “Ravana”.

Actor Sushant A will be seen in the role of Ram. He also shared a character poster of the film where he was seen in an intense, calm, and blue-eyed look.

5 Actresses Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar, and Poojitha Ponnada are playing crucial roles in the film.

Srikanth Vissa wrote the dialogues and the story while Sudheer Varma will direct the movie.

This action-thriller is produced by Abhishek Nama under the banners of Abhishek Pictures and RT Team Works.

Ravanasura First Look Unveiled

On October 31, 2021, the makers of the movie made the announcement of the film by sharing a poster with the tagline “Heroes Don’t Exist”, till that time, the name was not finalized for the movie.

On November 5, 2021 the first look with title was unveiled by the makers, which was earlier titled as RT70, as it is the 70th movie of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja.

The Grand Pooja Ceremony of the film was held today (January 14th) at Annapurna Studio in Hyderabad on the special occasion of Makar Sankranthi.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Raghavendra Rao K. also attended the Pooja ceremony. Actor Chiranjeevi also launched the poster of the movie during the Pooja ceremony.

Makers of the movie and Ravi Teja himself also shared the new look poster of the film on social media. In the new poster, Ravi Teja was seen in a Gangster look lighting up a Cigar.
