Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer Telugu action drama film Khiladi, which is one of the most-awaited projects of the actor, is ready to be released in the upcoming days.
The film’s director Ramesh Sharmaa has written the screenplay of it. He also co-produced the film, along with Satyanarayana Koneru under the banners of Pen Studios and A Studios.
If we talk about the technical work in the film, the cinematography is handled by Sujith Vaassudev and G.K. Vishnu while editing is done by Amar Reddy Kudumula.
The film has music by Telugu music composer, singer, and songwriter Devi Sri Prasad, who is popularly known as DSP while all the lyrics are written by Sri Mani.
The theatrical distribution rights and audio rights of the movie are acquired by Pen Studios and Aditya Music, respectively.
Khiladi Theater Release Date & Production
The film was initially slated to be released on May 28, 2021, but got postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the makers of the movie have announced that the film will hit the big screen on Friday, 11th February 2022.
Ravi Teja is not only popular in South India but he is also loved by North India, so keeping this thing in mind, the makers also decided to release the film in its Hindi version on a huge scale.
So, along with the original (Telugu) version, the film will also be released in its Hindi dubbed version in theaters. The Hindi remake rights of the film have also been acquired by Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
The shooting of the film commenced in November 2020 and the final schedule was shot during June 2021, after a break, due to the pandemic in India. Few action scenes of the film were filmed in Italy during April-May.
The pre-release event of the movie will also be held on Wednesday (today), 9th February 2022 from 6 PM onwards at Park Hyatt, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Khiladi OTT Release Date & Trailer
After having its theatrical release, the film will also be released through the digital medium. The post-theatrical rights have also been sold to one of the popular OTT streaming platforms Disney+Hotstar.
The streaming date has been announced by the film’s makers, OTT streaming starts from 11 March 2022 (6:00 PM). The makers of the movie released the trailer of this much-hyped action film in both Hindi and Telugu, on Tuesday, 8th February 2022.
The Telugu trailer was released through Aditya Music while the Hindi trailer of the film was released through Pen Movie on Youtube. Five songs of the movie have also been released so far, these are Istam, Khiladi, Atta Sudake, Full Kick, Catch Me.
