The critically and commercially successful Tollywood film of the year 2021 Republic is all set to appear on your small screens soon. It is a political drama film written and directed by Deva Katta.
Republic was released in cinemas on 1 Oct 2021 and got a positive response from the critics as well as viewers, the film is considered a cult classic film, which rightfully showcased the corrupt system.
It revolves around an IAS officer Panja Abhiram, who stands up to corrupt politicians who have siphoned off public money. Republic marks another film as a cult classic in the director Deva Katta’s filmmaking career, his earlier films like Vennela, Prasthanam, Autonagar Surya were also considered cult classic films. It seems that the director has a Midas touch.
