Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network’s nighttime programming block Adult Swim, Poplar American adult animated sci-fi sitcom Rick and Morty is back with its sixth season.
The series which started in 2013, has several times been the most viewed television comedy of adults. The popularity of Rick and Morty has made it a billion-dollar merchandising and media franchise.
The fifth season of the show premiered in June 2021 and consisted of 10 episodes whereas the sixth season was ordered even before the fourth season of the show finished airing, in May 2020.
A season 7 is also confirmed as part of a long-term deal with Cartoon Network that ordered 70 new episodes. The writing for the ongoing season continued on Zoom during the pandemic.

The sixth season of Rick and Morty premiere its first episode on Sunday 4, 2022 on American adult oriented nighttime cable network cable TV channel, Adult Swim at 11 pm. Now talking about the premiere of Its upcoming 3rd and 4th episodes, it premiered on September 18 and September 25, 2022, respectively on the same platform in American.
The Indian viewers will get to watch these episodes on Netflix on a paid subscription on Mondays- September 19 and September 26, respectively.
