One of the most popular youths reality shows in India, Roadies will soon be back with its nineteenth season, Roadies X9.
In the show, some contestants travel to different destinations to perform the tasks given to them. This season (Roadies In South Africa) is set against the locales of South Africa. We can witness some never seen twists and turns in the show as host Sonu Sood claims on promos.
“Roadies” has always been the best opportunity for people who want to pursue career in acting and modeling. The show has given many rising stars to India, Ayushmann Khurran is the best example.
The show has successfully run its eighteen seasons. It was first aired in 2003, in which Ranvijay Singha was declared the winner of the show.
Since then, he was associated with the show either as a host, coach, or gang leader. The show gave him so much popularity that his name comes to mind as soon as we heard the name “Roadies”.

Roadies Season 19 Host
The makers of the show announced the new host for this season in Jan 2022. Actor/producer and nation hero now Sonu Sood, who has been winning people’s hearts since the pandemic hit our country, with his humanitarian work, was announced to be the host for Season 19 of Roadies.
This is because Ranvijay Singha, after being associated with the show for 18-long years left the show. In this season the fans will no longer witness him in the show.
Hence the reason for his quitting the show is not known, it is said that he made the decision after a new production house took over the show.
First time in the Roadies history, Ranvijay will not be seen in the show. He is currently hosting Sony TV’s popular business reality show Shark Tank India.

This popular youth reality show is being telecast on the popular TV channel MTV India from Friday to Sunday at 7:00 PM. You can also enjoy the show through direct streaming on India’s popular video-on-demand service platform Voot.

Will Roadies Season 19 back with a New Format?
As we know, for the past few seasons, there was a concept of a gang leader in Roadies, which saw Neha Dhupia, Ranvijay Singha, Prince Narula, Nikhil Chinapa, and others.
Neha Dhupia being the most successful gang leader of the show, won the two seasons- Roadies Rising and Roadies Xtreme.
We could expect some changes in the upcoming season. According to some media sources, makers have dropped the concept of gang leaders from the show this time.
