S.S Rajmouli’s directorial period action flick successfully crossed the 20-day theatrical run at the box office, making the total collection over Rs 1050 Cr worldwide.
The multi-starrer was released on 25 March 2022 breaking the record of the biggest opening day Indian film ever with a collection of Rs 223 Cr+ gross worldwide.
The film went on to break many records such as the third highest-grossing Indian film leaving behind magnum opus’s lie Secret Superstar, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 2.0, etc, second-highest grossing in India, the ninth highest-grossing film of the year 2022 worldwide, the first film which crosses Rs 100 Cr shares from the Nizam area and so on.
At the box office north, the film became the second-highest grosser post-pandemic after The Kashmir Files, RRR has collected over Rs 240 Cr in Hindi so far and is only around Rs 7 Cr behind to cross the Rs 250 Cr mark.
On day 21, the film didn’t see a decrease in the footfalls at the box office, earlier it was being predicted that the K.G.F 2 storm will take on heavily on its BO business.
Despite locking horns with the monster the magnum opus pulled more footfalls than the earlier day, it minted Rs 3.00 Cr on Thursday in Hindi. Check out the box office collections below.
