Rajamouli’s magnum opus is just 48 hrs away to grace the cinemas and ahead of the film release, Kannada moviegoers are not at all happy with the Rajamouli, read on to know why?
Karnataka theatergoers have been trending #BoycottRRRinKarnataka on Twitter since the advance ticket bookings have opened in the state owing to the non-availability of Kannada shows in the state. That too when the makers have announced that the film will be released in the dubbed Kannada version.
Many netizens enraged by this, took to Twitter and showed their anger on the cast & crew, especially the director Rajamouli. A Twitter user has shared a video where sandalwood star ShivaRajkumar is seen requesting Rajamouli on stage to release the film in Kannada version also.
That’s why netizens are angry with Rajamouli that even after requesting they didn’t release even one show of the dubbed version in the state. Earlier Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa too saw the same kind of reaction from the netizens when had not been released in the Kannada version.
Now, the user this time seems to be in full anger mode, as per many Kannada Twitter users who had plans to watch the film but ’cause of the non-availability of the dubbed version shows, they will not go to watch the film and ask others to follow suit.
Some are saying that it is not Rajamouli’s fault, it is in the distributor’s hand that a film should have been released in a certain version or not. As a result, many are bashing the RRR Karnataka distributors KVN Productions.
However, there’s no announcement from the maker’s side yet, we will have to wait to see whether they change their decision or bear the consequences promised by the netizens.
