Bollywood’s most popular actor and Singham fame Ajay Devgn will be soon on your digital screens with his upcoming psychological crime thriller.
With Disney+Hotstar’s crime-thriller web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, Ajay Devgn is ready to make his digital debut soon.
He will be seen on big screens after his critically acclaimed Historical action films “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which was released on January 10, 2020.
It was a major commercial hit that collected a huge amount of Rs. 367.65 Crore worldwide against a total budget of Rs. 125 Crore and became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2020.
After that, he was seen in Abhishek Dudhaiya’s 2021 Hindi War Film “Bhuj: The Pride of India ”, which premiered on Disney+Hotstar on August 13, 2021.
He also did a cameo appearance as DCP Bajirao Singham in Sooryavashi, which became the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2021.
Now the excitement of his fans have gone up after the announcement of his debut in the digital world.
This series is a Hindi adaptation of BBC One’s British Psychological Crime Drama Luther, which has 5 seasons comprising 20 episodes in total. It was created as well as written by Neil Cross.

The official social media handle of Disney+Hotstar made the announcement regarding the trailer released by dropping the poster of Ajay Devgn in which he was seen in an intense look.
Earlier the actor himself made the announcement of this crime thriller on social media by dropping his motion poster on April 20, 2021.
Rudra Star Cast & Makers
Along with Ajay Devgn, actress Esha Deol who will be back on the screen after a long time will also make her digital debut with this crime thriller series.
Ajay will reprise the role of Idris Elba, who played the role of a cop in the original British crime drama Luther. Idris played the role of Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) John Luther.
Esha is likely to reprise the role of Ruth Wilson, who played the character of Alice Morgan.
The duo of Ajay Devgn and Esha Deol had earlier worked in many movies together including Yuva, LOC: Kargil, Cash, Main Aisa Hi Hu, Insan, Kaal, etc.
Although the role of a cop is not new to Ajay Devgn, this time the character he is going to play will be more complex, intense, and dark.
