2019 blockbuster action-thriller film War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff is nowadays making headlines related to its sequel. Here we are sharing with you all the details about the ace filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s War 2.
The high-Octane action-filled film War was released in Oct 2019, made on a budget of Rs 170 crores approx and grossed around Rs 500 crores at the Box Office Worldwide. It was financed by Aditya Chopra under the banner of his Yash Raj Films.
According to a report of News 18, the director had told in Oct 2019 that he is willing to convert the film into a franchise. And since then the talk of its sequel is making rounds in the industry and on SM platforms.
In Oct 2021, the director again confirmed that the sequel is indeed happening, he said in an interview given to Mid-Day. Now, there are many rumors that the upcoming sequel will star Prabhas in the main lead, some are saying that It will see the amalgam of three big Bollywood stars Salman, Hrithik, and SRK.

As per the director, they will work on the sequel soon, thereby It is not yet confirmed what will be the star cast of the upcoming sequel we could also see the main leads Hrithik and Tiger returning in the upcoming sequel.
Recently movie critic Sumit Kadel through a tweet wrote that his claim of SRK, Salman, and Hrithik to be seen together on screen is coming true, according to Sumit producer Aditya Chopra is trying to blend the actors of his spy universe films.

But the recent reports are suggesting that the makers are not thinking of, roped in the three superstars in War2. As per reports, the three stars will definitely be seen together but post War 2, makers are strategically building the franchise.
Meanwhile, the other two films Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 and Pathan starring SRK in the last leg of shooting, while the former is helmed by Maneesh Sharma the latter one is by Siddharth Anand.
