Karthi’s film Sardar has entered the 2nd week now and is not in the mood of slowing down. It has crossed 65 crores at the box office, reportedly. And now eying the 100 crores mark, worldwide.
It was released on Oct 21st on 380 screens in the home market, Tamil Nadu. As per the latest reports, 120 screens more are being added. Hence, the total screen count of the movie now stands at 500 in TN. It is the content and glowing word of mouth that led to an increase in the screens.

Box Office Collection Day 8
Going by the advanced trends, it will stay stable on Friday and is certain to see growth on Sat and Sun. It will cross the 100 crore mark in the 2nd week and then head for a lifetime of 120-125 crores.
As per the reports, Sardar witnessed a growth of around 8% on Friday, it amassed around1.9 crores on Day 8 to take the total domestic bizz a little below 40 crores nett, domestically, all versions. With this, it touches the 30 crore nett mark in Tamil Nadu, yesterday.
Advance Bookings Report Day 8
It collected 42.24 L from the advance bookings for day 8, out of which it sold tickets worth 33.6L+ in Tamil and 8.5L+ in Telugu. Sardar has already emerged as a profitable venture for distributors in the Telugu states.
As per the Telugu box office tracker, T2BLive, Sardar is currently in 62L profits in AP-TG. The first-week collection of Sardar stands at 10.25 Cr gross in Telugu.
