Superstar Mahesh Babu’s action flick SVP after raking in Rs 90 Cr gross worldwide in two days, now heading for a strong opening weekend. The weekday Thursday release film had hit the half-century on the very first day in the home market and continuing the winning streak it minted Rs 11.40 Cr (Rs 16.20 Cr gross) shares on the second day.
With over Rs 15 Cr gross on Day 2 (Friday), it became the 7th highest grosser in the Telugu-speaking states surpassing the collection of blockbuster films like Alu Vaikhuntapuramuloo, Vakeel Saab, etc.
The film has collected Rs 7.81 crores from the overseas market so far and Rs 3.35 Cr from Karnataka and the rest of India. As per the reports, Mahesh starrer action flick witnessed a slight growth on Saturday compared to Friday.
It garnered Rs 18 Cr gross on Saturday from the home market making the total collections Rs 84 crore gross and mint Rs 22 Cr gross WW on Day 3 for a worldwide total of Rs 112 Cr gross in three days.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata was opened with negative reviews from the critics, they panned the story by calling it routine, the word of mouth also seems mixed to negative, which may start affecting the film once the initial buzz fades, before that Mahesh starrer needs to make its extended weekend successful.
Having said that, the weekdays’ collections will tell the real story as it needs to make a good grip during the weekdays to emerge as a blockbuster. It’s because before the next weekend the film will tackle only breakeven, to earn a good amount in the profit zone it needs a good grip on weekdays.
