Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been churning out amazing collections at the box office since day 1, the film has covered its budget (Rs 60 Cr) on the very first day by accumulating Rs 70 Cr gross worldwide.
It seems the 4 days long opening weekend strategy of the makers has worked out well, as it had a record-breaking first weekend with a total collection of Rs 133.80 Cr gross.
Along with the home market which represents over 75% of the total collections of the film, also churning out well from the U.S market, as per the recent reports SVP has accumulated $2 million (Rs 15 crores gross approx) from the market.
Talking about the home market, it hit the century in the Telugu-speaking states on the last day of the first weekend, now the film needs to be strong on the weekdays to become successful at the box office. It needs over Rs 35 Cr more to cross the break-even mark.
As per the early reports, it saw a drop on Monday and accumulated Rs 6 crore gross in AP/TG on Day 5, taking the total collections to Rs 108.60 crores gross, and minted Rs 9.50 Cr gross at the box office worldwide on Monday, taking the total collection to Rs 143 Cr gross.
