Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paatra has completed 50 day tremendous run at the box office. The action entertainer was opened with mixed to negative reviews from the critics but saw a huge welcome from the audience on opening day.
Mahesh starrer garnered Rs 36.63 Cr shares from the Telugu-speaking states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) on the very first day of release. The film had a fantastic run at the box office overseas also, especially in the U.S, it became the 11th feature film of the superstar that crossed the $1 million (Rs 7.89 Cr apprxo) mark at the BO U.S.

Makers had declared the film as the summer sensational blockbuster at the box office, they even released a special announcement poster of the film grossing Rs 200 Cr+ worldwide in just 12 days of its release.
But the Telugu trade circle reports suggest that Mahesh’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata did only 90% recovery. The film grossed Rs 180 Cr worldwide earning the distribution share of Rs 110.2 Cr. It failed to break even by Rs 10 Cr+ which makes it above average film.

The film earned decent collections at the ticket windows despite the negative talks surrounding the film. The family audience contributed big to its lifetime collections, especially during the ending run of the film. Sarkaru Vaari Paata has already been made available on the OTT platform, the digital audience showering love on Mahesh Babus’ action entertainer.
The BO figures of SVP vary, the Wikipedia page suggests that the lifetime collection of the film is, between Rs 180-200 cr gross while other Tollywood tracker websites suggest that SVP performed decently at the box office and emerged as an above-average film.
