The successful hit franchise Scream is soon coming with the fifth part in the Scream series. It is a sequel to the 2011 meta slasher film Scream 4.
Wes Craven had directed all the earlier parts of the series, he passed away in 2015. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have jointly directed Scream 5.

It stars Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox who are reprising their role from the earlier films as Sidney Prescott, Dewey Riley, Gale Weather respectively, other actor includes are Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks, Melissa Barrera as Sam Carpenter, Jenna Ortega essaying the role of Sam Carpenter, Jenna Ortega is in the role of Tara Carpenter.
Dylan Minnette is portraying Wes Hicks, Jack Quaid is playing Rickie Kirsch, Mason Gooding in the role of Chad meeks-Martin, Jasmin Savoy Brown is Mindy Meeks-Martin, Kyle Gallner in playing Vince Schneider, Sonia Ben Ammar is Amer Freeman and Roger L. Jackson is doing the voice of Ghostface.
Production & Release Date
Earlier Scream 5 shooting was to begin in mid-2020, filming took place in most parts of North Carolina, United States but soon put off because of the corona pandemic, and began in Sept 2020, the production was completed in Nov 2020 & post-production in July 2021. It will release in theatres on 14 January 2022.

Scream 5 is written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busic and bankrolled by William Sherak along with James Vanderbilt & Paul Neinstein.
It is made under the production of Spyglass Media Group in association with Radio Silence Productions, Project X Entertainment, and Outerbanks Entertainment. Brett Jutkiewicz and Michel Alter are the cinematographer and Editor respectively, Music is given by Brian Tyler. Paramount Pictures is the distributor.

The makers had launched the trailer in oct this year, giving a little synopsis about the film in description ‘A New Killer Has Donned the Ghostface mask and Begins Targeting a Group of Teenager to Resurrect Secrets from the Woodsboro town’s Deadly Past.’
