Senior Year is an upcoming American Comedy film directed by Alex Hardcastle, who is best known for his directorial work on the American comedies like New Girl, The Mindy Project, The Office, Grace & Frankie, Parks and Recreation as well as dark comedy television series A Young Doctor’s Notebook.
The film has the screenplay of Andrew Knauer, Arthur Pielli and Brandon Scott Jones while it is backed by the lead actor Rebel Wilson along with Todd Garner and Chris Bender under the banners of Paramount Pictures, Paramount Players and Broken road Productions. If we talk about technical work, editing has been done by Sarah Lucky. Jermaine Stegall has composed the music in the film.
Senior Year OTT Release Date
The makers of this movie have announced its release date. It is now confirmed that the film will skip the theatrical release and instead will go with the digital option. Senior Year is all set to have a direct-to-OTT release on streaming giant Netflix on May 13, 2022.

The shooting of the film was started in Atlanta on May 24, during the COVID-10 pandemic and it was wrapped-up in July 2021.

About the Film
The story of the film revolves around a high-school cheerleader Stephanie Conway, who falls into a coma after suffering a serious head injury in the year 2002. 20 years later, when she wakes up and realizes that she is a 37-year old woman. Upset about not being able to complete her high school education, she decided to again take the admission against her parents’ will.

Netflix released the trailer of Rebel Wilson’s Senior Year on April 11, 2022 The trailer shows Stephanie Conway, waking up from coma after a 20 year long period and realizing that she is not a young girl anymore but becomes a 37 years old woman.
She realizes that plenty of things around her have changed like there are 8 Fast & Furious movies behind. From Harry Potter (but apparently without the magic) to Lady Gaga (whom she refers to as Madonna’s copycat), everything just shocks her.
