Shamshera has become one of the worst films among Ranbir Kapoor’s recent releases. And one more flop among the string of flops in Bollywood this year. Ranbir’s last flop film Jagga Jasoos had accumulated Rs 54.16 crores in its lifetime theatrical run and going by the performance of “Shamshera” looks like it will wrap up under 50 cr lifetime, domestically.
Shamshera so far has accumulated Rs 37.05 Cr at the box office in India, it was opened with a negative response from the critics and further got rejected by the audience at the box office.
It had a below-par performance on day 1 and further failed to gain momentum over the weekend. The huge drop on Monday made the dream of its successful run over and out.

Box Office Collection Worldwide
So far, it has garnered Rs 54.09 Cr gross worldwide which consists of Rs 44.11 Cr gross at the domestic and Rs 9.98 Cr gross from the overseas market. Note that, Rs 9.98 Cr is the overseas bizz of the weekend-1, overseas Mon and Tue collection is yet to come. The worldwide business of the film will fold in the range of Rs 65-70 crores.
Last time, Kangana’s film Dhaakad had met the same fate which had pulled from the theatres in its one week, the difference is there was lot of expectations from Ranbir’s this big ticket film. However, it didn’t find any takers all eyes will now be on his upcoming highly anticipated film Brahmastra.

Box Office Collection Day 6
Earlier it was expected to touch Rs 50 cr at the end of its theatrical run, but the big drop on Monday swept away all the hopes of it hitting the half-century. It was a huge 74% drop in its collections on Monday. As per the trade experts, the film might see another major fall in the collections in the coming days. It collects in the range of Rs 2-2.3 crore on Day 6 to take the total nett India collections of the film to Rs 39 Cr, as per the trade estimates.
