Shamshera Trailer Reviews

Produced under the big banner- Yash Raj Films, the film’s trailer has been released today on June 25, 2022 and in no time it starts getting a lot of praises from the fans, who were eagerly waiting for the trailer.

Set in 1871, the film’s trailer stars with Ranbir’s voice over and some visuals of some people bound with shackles and chains being beaten up with whip and being shot by British soldiers. Ranbir is playing the titled role of Shamshera, a dacoit.

The trailer introduced the audience to the dacoit, who is completing his father’s dream. Ranbir is playing the double role of both Shamshera and his son. He is one of the members of a dacoit tribe which is fighting the unfair British Rule. Talking about Vaani’s character Sona, it seems she used to work as a dancer during the British Raj and surely has a love story with Ranbir Kapoor.

Sanjay Dutt as Daroga Shuddh Singh Steals the Show

Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithiviraj, the highly anticipated film of Yash Raj Films that turned-out-to be a disaster at Box Office. Before that he played the role of villain-Adheera in Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 which turned out to be a superhit and broke all records of earnings.

The trailer of Shamshera shows him in the role of antagonist Daroga Shuddh Singh. After watching the trailer we can say that when it comes to playing the role of the most dangerous and deadliest villain, no one can perform the character as much as perfectly as he performs in present times.

Again his ruthless antagonist avatar is said to make the audience go crazy. The trailer shows a strong fight and face-off between Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor. Apart from stunning visuals, Dutt’s portrayal as a fierce Daroga, employed by Britishers to capture those people who are challenging them, is something that makes the trailer more promising.
