Rajasekhar Vardharajan, popularly known as Rajashekhar is a big name in Tollywood Film Industry. He will be back on Big Screen after two long years, in a cop thriller movie “Shekar”.
In a career of more than thirty years, the actor has worked in 90 films. This action-thriller is the 9th movie of Rajasekhar’s career.
Now after a successful career of thirty years, he will be seen on Big screens, probably in the first quarter of the movie.

Makers of the movie dropped the first look poster of the movie on February 4, 2021, on the occasion of the birthday of Dr. Rajashekhar.
In the first look, we show his half face and the intense look, that was enough for his fans to go crazy.
The lead actor Rajashekhar also shared his first look poster from the movie, mentioning the name of all-stars and Crew of the movie in the caption.
The makers also shared the first glimpse of the movie on November 25, 2021, through a 55 second-long teaser.

Earlier, this action thriller was slated to be released on Sankranthi, but for unknown reasons, it is out of the Sankranthi race later.

Shekar Star Cast
Along with Dr. Rajashekhar, Athmiya Rajan will be seen in the female lead role. The film also stars Mushkaan Khubchandani, Abhinav Gomatam, Kishor, Sameer, and Ravi Varma in supporting roles.
Now the makers of the movie also confirm the role of Shivani Rajashekar, the eldest daughter of male lead Dr. Rajashekhar.
This real-life father-daughter duo will be the center of attraction as they will play the father-daughter role in the film as well.
The actor Rajashekahr himself took to social media and posted a beautiful collage of the pictures, in which he was with his daughter in an adorable pose.

Actress Shivani Rajashekar is best known for her debut in Mallik Ram’s Telugu Science Fiction romantic film “Adbhutham”, where she plays the female lead opposite Teja Sajja.
The film had a direct OTT release on online streaming platform Disney+Hotstar on November 19, 2021. The film was an OTT hit.

The Male lead of the film Rajshekhar’s wife and actress Jeevitha is directing this action thriller.
The film is jointly produced by Beeram Sudhakara Reddy, Shivani, Shivathmika, and Boggaram Venkata Srinivas under the banners of Pegasus Cinecorp, Taurus Cinecorp, Sudhakar Impex IPL, and Tripura Creations.
If we talk about technicalities, Cinematography is performed by Mallikarjun Naragani while editing is done by Garry BH.
The music of the film is composed by Anup Rubens, who also composed the music of Amazon Prime’s 2021 Telugu crime drama Drushyam 2, while publicity designs are designed by Ananth Kancherla.
