Punjabi actor-cum singer Ammy Virk is basking in the success of his superhit film Saunkan Saunkne, the film performed stupendously at the box office and went on to become the third-highest grosser Punjabi film ever, now the same is being expected from his latest outing Sher Bagga.
It is a romantic comedy, directed and written by Jagdeep Sidhu, the film stars Nikka Zaildar actors Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in the main lead. Ammy along with acting in the flick also is the producer, he bankrolled the film with Dalit Thind.
The trailer of Sher Bagga was released almost one month ago, it created a huge buzz. So far, it has garnered 1.5 crore views and 1.4 L likes and created anticipation for the movie amongst the moviegoers.

Box Office Collection Sher Bagga (Day 1)
As per the reports, Sher Bagga sees an opening of Rs 0.5 Cr on day 1 (Friday) in India. Earlier, Rs 2 Cr+ opening was expected from the film but it performed below expectations. However, let’s see how it performs during the weekend.

Ammy’s last flick Saunkan Saunkne was opened with rave reviews and had a Rs 2.25 Cr opening, the film collected amazing business in the domestic market and Canada. It accumulated Rs 30.71 Cr nett in India and Rs 56.9 Cr at the box office worldwide.

Saunkan Saunkne went on to become the third-highest grosser Punjabi film of all time after Gippy Garewal’s Carry on Jatta 2 and Diljit Dosanjh’s Shadaa.
