Popular TV actor Dheeraj Dhooper, who gained popularity by playing Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka and Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya is set to make his return to TV screens with his upcoming show Sherdil Shergill.
This news comes as a reason for rejoicing again for the fans of the actor who broke the hearts of his fans by making the announcement regarding quitting the show Kundali Bhagya.

The show titled as Sherdil Shergill is bankrolled by Saurabh Tewari under the banner of Parin Multimedia. The actor also started the shoot for the show in Shimla. Now, everyone is talking about the release date of the show.
Well, the release date (26 Sep 2022) of the show has been announced, the show will be telecast on Colors TV by Viacom18. The teaser is looking funny and interesting ft. leads of this programme.

Sherdil Shergill Star Cast
When Dhooper quited the show Kundali Bhagya, the fans predicted that he was taking a paternity break as his wife Vinny Arora is expecting their first child. However, the rumours were proven wrong when he posted a picture with Naagin 5 actress Surbhi Chandna, that went viral all over the internet.
Later it became was clarified that the two are reuniting for the rom-com drama Sherdil Shergill after sharing a screen for a brief time in Naagin 5 where they became good friends. Both the actors express their happiness while doing the show and collaborating again as the leading actors.
Reportedly, actress Erica Fernandes was in talks to play the female lead but later Surbhi was finalised for that role opposite Dhooper who is playing the title role. Apart from these two, the romantic comedy drama show will also feature Sai Ballal, Sagar Saini, Anindita Chatterjee and Mohit Sharma.
Colors TV Launches a Promo Video
On Monday, August 1, 2022, Colors TV launched a short, 32 second promo video of this upcoming romantic comedy drama. The video introduced Dheeraj Dhooper as a stand-up comedian Raj, who has a great sense of humour, telling a joke in a show that at the age of 55, his father thoughts that he should have a son and after his two sisters, who were aged 18 and 20 at that time, he was finally born.
The next scene introduces Surbhi Chandna as Manmeet, who is part of the audience, stands up from her chair and replies to him that his father is a narrow minded person because even if there are two daughters in the family, then it will also be called a complete family.
The show is going to be very interesting as both the leads are playing characters who are completely different from each other in thinking. On one side, where Raj is a fun-loving guy, Manmeet is opinionated, fierce and badass.
