Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, is ready to make his acting debut soon. The star batsman who has gained a lot of popularity and fame over the year, for his excellent batting skills, is set to show his acting skills in Bollywood.
Yes, you heard it right! Shikhar will be soon be seen in Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi starrer upcoming comedy drama film Double XL, which is defected by Satramm Ramani, known for his work in films like Bodyguard, Helmet and Ready.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl, Ashwin Varde, Saqib Saleem, Huma, Mudassar Aziz under the banners of Wakaoo Films and T-Series, Double XL is a slice-of-life comedy that explores the journey of two plus size women from Delhi breaking the stereotypes and fighting the body shammers.
The makers of the film shared its release date last month. The film, which was set to be released theatrically on October 14 has now been postponed by 3 weeks. It will be released on November 4, 2022 in cinemas near you.

Star Cast
The film stars Huma Qureshi as sports presenter Rajshree Trivedi from Meerut and Sonakshi Sinha as fashion designer Saira Khanna from Delhi. It also features Zaheer Iqbal and Tamil-Telugu actor Mahat Raghavendra in key roles.
Although Dhawan, will not appear in a full time role, his special appearance in the film opposite Huma, will be interesting to watch. A new still from the picture shows Huma in red gown, dancing with the star batsman, who is sporting his trademark haircut in the film.
