Siddhanth Kapoor who is the elder brother of actor Shraddha Kapoor and the son of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor has been detained by Bengaluru Police on Sunday, for alleged drug consumption.
Siddhanth himself is an actor, who have acted in several movies like Shootout at Wadala, Ugly, Haseen Parker etc. He also worked as an assistant director in many superhit blockbusters such as Bhagam Bhag, Chup Chup Ke, Bhul Bhulaiya and Dhol.
Siddhanth Kapoor Detained by Police
The Bengaluru Police detained actor Siddhant Kapoor for allegedly consuming drugs at party on Sunday which was organised at a 5-star hotel on M.G. Road in the city, where the Police conducted the raid based on a secret information.
Siddhant had left for Bengaluru from Mumbai on Sunday and this incident happen during a late night party. As per Bengaluru Police, he is among the six people allegedly found to have consumed drugs.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Bheemashankar S. Guled told to media that Siddhanth tested positive in the blood test report and had been brought to Ulsoor Police station.
Earlier, in 2020, Siddhanth’s sister actress Shraddha Kapoor was also summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to record her statement in a drug probe which was related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The team recorded her statement on a drug case related to SSR as well as Bollywood drug nexus as well.
Shakti Kapoor on His Son’s Arrest
Siddhant’s father veteran actor Shakti Kapoor has reacted with shock on this matter. While talking to a media house he said he is yet to know the details. He further said that he is not affair anything and he just gotten up from his sleep and his phone started ringing Continuously.
As per the veteran, he has much as much information as it is coming out from the news, and he is very troubled by this news. “I don’t think there was any possession, he added”.
