Shriya Saran is one of the lead actresses in Tollywood and is also best known for her work in Bollywood.

11 September 1982 born Shriya is basically in Haridwar, Uttarakhand but gained fame through South Indian films.

She did her schooling at DPS Haridwar and DPS New Delhi where her mother worked as Chemistry Teacher while her father worked for BHEL.

The actress completed graduation in literature. Shriya Sarna is a trained dancer, her mother taught her Kathak and Rajasthani folk dance when she was a child.

In 2001, she got a chance in a Telugu movie Ishtam after which many filmmakers offered her and she did Tamil and Telugu movies back to back.

In 2007, Shriya paired opposite megastar Rajinikanth in Shivaji and the film made her so popular across the country and she got some good offers from Bollywood too.

In the same year, she appeared in Emraan Hashmi’s romantic thriller Awarapan and received an amazing response. Now the actress is equally active in the Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries.
