The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), are back with its 10th edition. The SIIMA awards are given to filmmakers from the South Indian Film Industries in four South Indian languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
The SIIMA award ceremony was started by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Brinda Prasad Adusimilli in the year 2012. Since 2012 SIIMA award ceremony has been held every year to celebrate the artistic and technical excellence of South Indian Film Industry.

Celebs Who Attended the Prestigious Award Function
The star-studded awards night of SIIMA Awards 2022 witnessed many big celebs including actors and filmmakers from South Indian cinema. The event was filled with a massive crowd and celebrities from both Bollywood and South industries were attending the beautiful night.
The celebs who attended the prestigious award events were Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Vijay Deverakonda, Yash, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Hansika Motwani, Araya, Sivakarthikeyan, Kamala Haasan, Rana Daggubatti, Nidhi Agerwal, Tovino Thomas, and many others. Also, Vikram director Lokesh Kangaraj and The Kashmiri Files Director Vivek Agnihotri were also present in the function.
Interestingly, actor Ranveer Kapoor also graced the show and his entry in the show brought more entry and charm in the event. He was conferred with Most Popular Hindi Actor in South India. On the other hand Allu Arjun, late Puneeth Kumar, Sivakarthikeyan and Tovino Thomas bagged the Best Actor in a Leading Role Awards in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, respectively.

The SIIMA Awards 2022 TV Premiere Date
This year the SIIMA award ceremony was held at Garden city of India, Bengaluru, on September 10th and 11th and last year it was held in Hyderabad. Like the previous years, this time too the function was all fun and entertaining.
Now, the wait of the fans has been over as the much-awiated show has been made available on their television screens. The red-carpet event on Sun TV, Gemini TV, Sun Udaya and Sun Surya for the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam audiences, respectively.
