The highly anticipated Telugu romantic film “Sita Ramam” has been released in cinemas in three languages, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. It stars Dulquer Salmaan, Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur as the main leads.
Salman-led received positive feedback from the critics and gets a decent start at the box office, domestically. The engaging story, dialogues, music, lyrics and poetic visuals received praise while there are a few comedy tracks and lag scenes that didn’t go well with the audience.

Box Office Collection Day 1
Going by the Telugu trade reports, it opens with a decent start of Rs 6.5 to 7 Cr gross at the box office. Sita Ramam is a kind of film that grows with word of mouth and it seems that the film will show growth over the weekend with audience positive WOM. As the positive talks have already started for Salmaan fronted.
As per Tollywood box office tracker AndhraBoxOffice.com, the opening day for Salman starrer was decent, the film managed to rake in more than the recent solo release films. Let us inform you that it faces a clash with Bimbisara at the box office which is stormed at the box office on the first day.

It needs to recover Rs 17 Cr shares at the box office worldwide which will depend on how it performs in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions on the first weekend. It locks horns with Kalyan Ram’s “Bimbisara” which seems to make a dent in its collections in Telugu states. However, the Telugu film Industry needs that both films gain a good amount of footfall towards the ticket windows as it is suffering from a string of flops for a while.

Advance Bookings and Screen Counts
It has grossed Rs 1.20 Cr from the advance bookings for Day 1, The Telugu version sold tickets worth Rs 1.05 Cr, while Tamil and Malayalam Rs 10 L and 5 L respectively, as per Sacnilk.com. On the other, it has occupied over 860 theatres worldwide and is being screened in around 350 theatres in AP-TG. Overseas theatre counts are 280+
US Premiere
It received positive feedback from the audience at the US premiere. It is riding on positive word of mouth, it has grossed a whopping $88k from the US premieres till 9 pm Thursday (PST) or 10 am Friday (IST) which is $20K more than Bimbisara US premiere collections.
