Dulquer Salman starrer “Sita Ramam” even after over a 2-week theatrical run is showing growth in its earnings, the film has turned out to be a lucrative business for the producers as it has reaped huge profits.
With Wed (Day 20) jump, the worldwide gross collection of the film has reached in the vicinity of Rs 70 crores, and it is currently in profits of over Rs 17.5 crores, as per the trade reports. Despite locking horns with Bimbisara and Karthikeya 2 in home states the film is able to show growth which depicts that the film is riding on amazing audience word of mouth.

Box Office Collection Day 20
Sita Ramam was released in three languages Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, and the audience of all languages heaped praise on the film considering the amazing box office figures of the movie in all versions. Dulquer-Mrunal led even after two and half week’s theatrical run showing growth in its collections on weekdays.
The film is still churning out moolah in crores on a daily basis, now going by the trends, it will continue to remain steady till Friday, the Wednesday (Day 20) collections was Rs 1.35 Cr at the box office worldwide, as per the BO tracker T2BLive. It will cross 70 crores worldwide on Thursday.

Mrunal was not the first choice
Sitar Ramam has been receiving acclaimed reviews from the cine-goers across the board, the performances, story screenplay, and especially the chemistry between Sita&Ram aka Mrunal and Dulquer are being praised by the film lovers. But do you know the makers earlier were to cast Pooja Hegde in the role of Sita, yes! you read that right, as per the media reports, the actress rejected the offer, and then the makers offered the role to Mrunal Thakur that’s how the latter got the role in her debut Telugu film.
