It has been over a week since “Sita Ramam” hit the cinemas, the film was opened on a decent note, and it has turned out to be a successful venture now. It became possible due to audiences’ word of mouth following which, it is still going strong at the box office.
Sita Ramam stars Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salman in the titular roles respectively, it also has Rashmika Mandanna playing the supporting character Afreen. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and bankrolled by C. Aswani Dutt under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinemas.

Box Office Collection Day 8
The film is currently dominating the box office in Telugu states, it showed excellent growth on Wed and Thu minting more than its competitor Bimbisara at the box office. Dulquer-Mrunal led holds well on Friday (Day 8) as well. As per T2Blive, it collects Rs 2.55 Cr gross at the BO WW on Friday.
Dulquer fronted opened with a below-par start at the box office however the film gained momentum over the weekend, it continues to maintain the momentum through the weekdays. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 40.35 Cr (Rs 20.51 Cr shares) at the box office worldwide. It is now in the profit of Rs 3.51 Cr and has been considered a super-hit, it is now creeping up to becoming a blockbuster.
The next target of the film would be to cross the 50 cr at the BO worldwide, the weekend will push it to near the feat, and then it will head for a gross total of Rs 60-65 Cr lifetime.

Success Meet in Hyderabad
Recently the whole team along with the main leads gathered for a success meet in Hyderabad, it was also attended by the Nagarjuna Akkineni who was the chief guest of the event. The latter appreciated the team’s effort in bringing this classic film to the big screens, he also appreciated the story and the performance of the main leads, especially Dulquer’s.
