Duqluer Salman-Mrunal Thakur’s classic love story “Sita Ramam” even after completing one month run at the box office, is not in the mood of slowing down at the box office.

As per the trade reports, the film has grossed around 87 crores in 32 days and still seeing an upward trend in its earnings. Given its stupendous box office performance, the Hindi version of the film was released on Sept 2. And it is running successfully here too.

Sita Ramam Hindi was opened with rave reviews from the critics and took a flying start at the box office north despite limited screens/shows, it witnessed an increase in its earnings over the weekend. And beats the lifetime of Beast and Valimai in the Hindi belt.

The film which is already riding on amazing audience word of mouth has around 4 days more to perform until Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmashtra arrives which is all set to take the box office by storm.

However, Dulquer starrer has now reached the vicinity of Rs 3 crores in Hindi with 1.30 cr shares, and the next target of the film would be to cross the lifetime of Kamal Haasan’s Vikram of Rs 6.64 Cr.

If the trade reports are to be believed then Dulquer-Mrunal’s film has made over 25 crore profits, so far. It has entered the 5th week and still seeing a rise in collections week in and week out.

It recently crossed the 40 Cr mark in the home market (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) and is creeping up to cross the 100 crores globally. It had breached the distributor’s shares of 17 crores within a week and has now been considered a blockbuster.

The film is still churning out 1-2 crores on a daily basis globally all thanks to the Hindi release of the film. It will be targeting 100 crores from here, however, it remained to be seen how much Brahmashtra’s arrival affects its box office earnings.

Coming to box office Hindi, the trend in the occupancy was flat on Monday (Day 4), it had 8.14% overall Hindi occupancy during the morning, noon, evening and night shows. Now as per the estimation, it collects Rs 50 L on Mon which is around a 20% fall as compared to its Friday collections. It will face a clash with Brahmastra on Sept 9 and will soon arrive on the OTT platform which could affect its BO run drastically.
