After emerging as a blockbuster in the Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages, the visually beautiful tale of love and loss “Sita Ramam” is now gearing to mesmerize the Hindi audience.
The film stars Dulquer Salman (Karwaan, The Zoya Factor), Mrunal Thakur in her Telugu debut and Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna in the main lead roles. Set in 1964, Sita Ramam revolves around the love story of Dulquer and Mrunal who plays Ram and Sita respectively.

Hindi Version Release
Dulquer’s film was released theatrically on 5 Aug 2022 in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. And after receiving huge appreciation from the audience down south, the makers of the film have now decided to release the film in Hindi. It will be released in theatres on 2 Sept 2022 in North and will be distributed by Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios who earlier distributed the films like RRR(Hindi), Shahid’s Jersey, etc.

Advance Bookings Opened
The advance bookings have been opened from Aug 31st for the Hindi version, as per the reports. Recently Pen Studios also unveiled the Hindi trailer of the film which has been well received by the viewers.

Box Office Reports
Dulquer-Mrunal’s starrer was opened with rave response from the critics and the audience alike, the film has already emerged as a blockbuster minting approximately Rs 80 Cr+ gross WW in its over three-week theatrical run in all three south languages (Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam).

Box Office Hindi
The classic love story of Dulquer and Mrunal led will now grace the theatres in Hindi, makers have chosen the right time as the Hindi industry is facing a drought of success at the box office, currently. Amid this, the south outings Hindi version cashing in on the opportunity and minting huge profits as well. The stupendous performance of Pushpa, RRR, KGF2, Rocketry and recently Karthieya 2 are the proofs.
The recent release “Liger” has fallen flat at the box office and Karthikeya 2 is nearing its end in theatres, thereby there will be an open week for Duqluer starrer until Brahmastra arrives on Sept 9. All it needs now is extensive promotion and marketing as Acharya, Vikram, Beast and Vikrant Rona were also released in Hindi but failed to reap profits.
