Set in 1964, a visually beautiful tale of love and loss “Sita Ramam” after performing stupendously at the box office south, has now been released in Hindi. It was originally released on Aug 25 in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.

The classic love story received so much love from south moviegoers and now, as per the early reviews and the trade reports, looks like the Hindi audience is showering love over this period romantic flick, as well.

Dulquer-Mrunal led has already reaped huge profits for its buyers, the worldwide collections of the film currently stand at Rs 82.15 Cr globally and according to the trade reports, it has made over 23 Cr profits, so far.

Following the success of the film, it was released in Hindi on Sept 2 and it seems the Hindi audience is enjoying the flick, as the film has done a business of 70 L+ net at the box office north on its first day. Due to the Hindi release, now the overall show counts of Sita Ramam have increased to 2000+.

Marching Towards 100 Cr club

With the release of Hindi version, the movie will get a further push to go past 100 crores soon. The business of the film is likely to see an upward trend over the weekend which will help it to reach in the vicinity of 90 crores. And if the film gets good word of mouth like it started its journey down south, it will surely enter 100 crore club and end its run with a 120-125 crore lifetime.


It is receiving rave reviews from the audience as many users took to social media to share their reviews about the film after watching the Hindi version. They are showing praise for the performance of the main leads, story, screenplay and direction. in fact, one user compared the film with the likes of Veer Zaara, Jab we met and Raanjhana.
