Mollywood heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan is set to entertain his fans with his upcoming Telugu film Sita Ramam soon. Touted-to-be a period romantic drama film, Sita Ramam is helmed by Hanu Raghavapadi.
The film marks the fifth directorial venture of Raghavapudi following Andala Rakshasi, Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, LIE and Paid Padi Leche Manasu and his first ever collaboration with superstar Dulquer Salmaan.
Earlier, on April 10, the makers shared the first glimpse of the film which features Rashmika Mandanna as a Muslim girl, as well as Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur. The first glimpse gave us the feel of a vintage love story.
Sita Ramam Release Date & Trailer
The makers of this period romantic drama released its release date a month ago on May 25. The film simultaneously shot in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages will be released theatrically on August 5, 2022 in the mentioned languages along with Hindi dubbed version.
The official twitter handle of Vyjayanthi Films, the presenter of the film, announced the release date by sharing a couple of pictures in four languages featuring a key, a pen and some papers and giving a full retro feeling, in one single post.

Star Cast
The film features Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles with Salmaan and Mrunal playing title roles Ram and Sita respectively.
The lead actor was last seen in his recently released Sony LIV crime thriller film salute which received highly positive reviews from the critics as well as audience.
Talking about Mrunal, she is getting all praises for her performance in sport drama film Jersey, co-starring Shahid Kapoor, and have films like Aankh Micholi, Pippa, Gumraah apart from Sita Ramam. Talking about Pusha actress Rashmika Mandanna, she will soon be seen in her Bollywood debut film Mission Majnu alongside Siddharth Malhotra.
On technical front, Divaker Mani is cranking the camera, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is taking care of editing work while Vishal Chandrashekhar has composed the music of the film.
A melodious romantic track titled Oh Sita Hey Rama (Telugu) has also been released. It has the melodious wife of SPB Charan Ramya Behara with lyrics penned by Ananth Sriram and song composition as well as arrangement by Vishal Chandrashekhar.
