South Indian cinema is back with another new exciting concept with the period drama Skylab starring the talented actress who has worked almost in all major Indian cinemas namely Nithya Menen.
Recently the makers launched the anticipated trailer of the film. Where the news of a skylab, which is about to fall in a village got circulated among the village people, following which the chaos ensues.
Synopsis
It is a period comedy Telugu language drama directed and written by Vishvak Khanderao. Talking about the storyline it is set in the 1970s, based on when The U.S.A first launched its space station mission called Skylab in 1973.
The makers have connected this story in a village called Lingampally in Telangana, where the space station going to crash further the chaos erupts in the village and the story is tweaked into a laughing riot.
Star Cast of Skylab
It features Nithya Menen in the lead role playing a rookie reporter named Gowramma aka Gowri, along with him Satya Dev plays as Anand & Rahul Ramakrishna as Subedhar Ramarao in the pivotal roles, Vishnu Oi, G.V. Narayana Rao, Tulasi Shivamani, Tanikella Bharani, and Mehboob Basha are also featuring in the movie.
Skylab OTT Release Date
Nithya Menen starter this film is all set to see its digital premiere soon on SonyLIV, the film will see its digital premiere from the 14th Jan 2022.
Skylab Theatrical Release Date
The comedy-drama certified by the U Certification by the censor board, thereby, is was released in theatres on 4 Dec 2021.
It is bankrolled by Prithvi Pinnamaraju and made under the banner of Byte Features with the collaboration of Nithya Menen Company. Nithya also co-produced the film.

The trailer of it was released on 6 Nov 2021 on the Aditya Music official YouTube channel, it is being liked for the new content, amazing ensemble star cast which seems done their job perfectly. Aditya Javvadi is the cinematographer, and Editor is Ravi Teja Girijala. Prashanth R Vihari has given the music in the film.
Nithya Menen upcoming Project
Talking about Nithya’s future project she has many movies on the way across cinemas in Malayalam 19(1)(a), Aaram Thirukalpana, Kolaambi. In Telugu Cinema, she will star alongside power star Pawan Kalyan in the upcoming action masala Bheemla Nayak, she will also be featured in an anthology film called Gamanam. Thiruchitrambalam and Appavin Meesai are her two upcoming Tamil films.
