Popular Youtube star Bhuvan Bam is all set to make his full-fledged OTT debut with the upcoming Disney+Hotstar series Taaza Khabar. In June 2022, Makers unveiled a teaser video of close to 1 min, in which they announced that the filming for the series has begun.
They released another teaser where Bhuvan Bam’s action-packed glance can be seen in the video, this is one of the much-awaited Disney+ Hotstar Hindi shows.
Taaza Khabar Makers
The series ‘Taaza Khabar’ is directed by Himank Gaur known for directing Bhuvan’s youtube series Dhindora. Taaza Khabar is written by Hussain and Abbas and made under Bhuvan’s own production house BB Ki Vines Productions.
Earlier, Bhuvan announced the project and shared it with fans on social media, he wrote, ” Need your wishes for my OTT debut…Your constant support has been a boon for me. New stuff this year!”
Taaza Khabar Star Cast
Taaza Khabar stars Shriya Pilgaonkar (Mirzapur, Guilty Minds fame), Telugu actor JD Chakravarthy, Deven Bhojani (Agneepath), Marathi actor Prathmesh Parab, Nitya Mathur (Filter Copy), Shilpa Shukla, and Mithilesh Chaturvedi (Scam 1992).
Talking about Bhuvan, he giggled viewers through his youtube channel BB ki vines at the beginning following which he went on to become one of the most popular youtube stars in India. Later in 2016, he appeared on season 1 of the TVF Bachelors series. Along with acting, he takes interest in music also, so far he has sung 13 songs.
Taaza Khabar Trailer & Release Date
The YouTuber-turned-actor Bhuvan Bam announced the release date of his comedy-drama series along with its teaser, which introduced him as Vasant Gawde, a young Marathi guy who is the owner of a public toilet. With dreams of becoming a rich man, he one day finds something that changes his life forever. The teaser also shows Bhuvan performing some action sequences.
The six-part series is set to premiere on January 6, 2023, only on Disney+ Hotstar. All episodes will stream on the same day.
