Take Diversion is an upcoming Tamil romantic drama film which is written and directed by Sivaani Senthil who in the past worked on many projects like short films but came to fame from her 2018 romantic movie Kargil, starring Vishnu Menon in the lead role.
The film backed by Subha Senthil, is about 70’s, 90’s and 2k kids with the hidden childish innocence. It holds the banner of Sivaani Studios while Venkat Maddala, Justin, Anand and Vijayakumar are serving as the executive producer.
Take Diversion Star Cast
Actor Ramachandran who has acted in films like “Aramm”, “Peta” and “Sathuranka Vettai” plays a pivotal role in this film while John Vijay is playing as antagonist. However, he will appear only in last 20 minutes of the movie, his character will be memorable one.
Debutants Padine Kumar and Sivakumar, who was the part of KGF: Chapter 2 as actor as well as assistant director and worked closely with Prasanth Neel and Yash, is also playing important roles. The film also stars George Vijay, Gayathri, Srinivasan and Bala J. Chandran in crucial roles.
Take Diversion Technical Crew
If we talk about technical work, Eswaran Thangavel, who shot the National award-winning Kannada film Railway Children is serving as the director of photography and Mithu Jeeva is taking care of the editing work. The film has music and background score by Jose Franklin, who composed for films like “Nedunalvaadai” and “En Peyar Anandhan”.
Take Diversion Release Date
The makers of the film have revealed its release date today, on May 17, 2022. It is now confirmed that the film has is going to be released theatrically on May 20, 2021.
Along with its original (Tamil) version, the film will also. be released in Telugu dubbed version. The film is going to face a direct clash with Nenjuku Needhi, Paruva Kadhal, Chotta and Centimeter that are also set to be release the same day.

Plot of the Film
As per the film’s director the core idea of the story is that in life we might have to face diversions, but ultimately, we rach the destination. The film’s story take place in one day, and involves a trip from Chennai to Pondicherry. Also, it will show the issues that female faces.
