The first ever Season of Telugu Indian Idol has declared its winner after nearly 15-days run on Aha. In the eventful finale of the show, BVK Vagdevi was declared winner and the winning- trophy was presented by none other than megastar Chiranjeevi.
The show was judged by Thaman S., Nithya Menen, and Karthik who put on some dazzling performances along with the talented contestants. It also witnessed a series of performances from some prominent stars including Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi who appeared as special guests in the show to promote their most awaited Virata Parvam.
Prize Money
Along with winning the trophy of the maiden season of the Telugu Indian Idol, BVK Vagdevi also won the prize money of Rs. 10 lakh. She was awarded an additional Rs. 6 lakh and also gets an opportunity to sing in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film backed by Geetha Arts.
Srinivas and Vaishnavi were declared as the first and second runner-ups and they won Rs. 3 lakh and 2 lakhs, respectively.

About BVK Vagdevi
BVK Vagdevi is a playback singer from Andhra Pradesh. She was born and brought up in Nellore district of the state. During her childhood, she was very inspired by her sister Vaishnavi. She started her singing training along with her. Both are called Vaiva sisters.
She also participated in the seventh season of the singing reality show Paduthu Theeyega in 2014. After completing her education, she also worked as an architect in Hyderabad, while working there she attended Aha Telugu Indian Idol audition, where she was declared the winner.
