Young and promising Mollywood actor Tovino Thomas starrer blockbuster film Thallumaala has locked its OTT partner. Billed as a Malayalam black comedy action film, Thallumaala is directed by Khalid Rahman, who is known for directing movies like Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, Unda and Love.
The film’s story is penned by Muhsin Parari, who along with Ashraf Hamza has written its screenplay as well. Jimshi Khalid handled the cinematography, Nishadh Yusuf took care of editing work whereas Vishnu Vijay composed the music.
Thallumaala OTT Release Date
Produced by Ashiq Usman under his Ashiq Usman Productions along with Plan B Entertainments, the film was released theatrically on August 12, 2022 worldwide and received positive reviews. In Kerala, it was distributed by Central Pictures.
Now, the fans are excited to know when it will be available on OTT. It is confirmed that the film has locked Netflix as its OTT partner and it will stream on the platform on September 11, 2022, Sunday just a month after its theatrical release date.

Thallumaala Star Cast
The film stars lead actor Tovino Thomas of “Minnal Murali ” as Wazim a.k.a. Manavaalan Wazim and actress Kalyani Priyadarshan played opposite him as Faatima Beevi a.k.a. Beepathu. She has acted in several successful movies including Chitralahari, Maanaadu, Hridayam and Bro Daddy, etc.
Apart from the leading stars, the film also features Shine Tom Chacko as SI Reji Matthew, Chemban Vinod Jose as Omega Babu, Binu Pappu as Kalapurakkal David, Lukman Avaran as Jamshi, Johny Antony as Wazim’s father, Neena Kurup as Wazim’s mother and Gokulan as Rajan among others.

The Tovino Thomas starrer offers a lot of fun and madness and the best thing about the film is that instead of following a traditional narrative consisting of a hero, a hero and a villain, it tries to capture the beliefs and lifestyle of youngsters who are always on the hustle.
The film was well received by the public as well as critics and emerged as one of the big blockbuster Malayalam movies of 2022. It grossed Rs. 7.4 crore on the opening day and Rs. 15 crore the next day worldwide. In its lifetime run in theaters the film grossed a total of Rs. 45 crore.
